Default Disable Key Fob Button

Does anyone on the forum know if there is a way to disable the panic button on the key fob?

Default How to disable panic button on FOB

Does anyone know how to disable the Panic button on the FOB for a 2013 F150? Sometimes I accidentally hit it when locking the truck or it has even been activated while the FOB is in my pocket. And no, I do not need to work on hand - eye coordination nor do I wear tight slacks. I just need to disable it.

I understand that all that is needed is a small piece of paper between the cicruit board tab and the button. However, I see no way to get to the circuit board as the battery compartment is on one side of the FOB and the circuit board is on the other. The side with the circuit board is fused together and I already broke one remote trting to get it apart. And the FOBs are to pricey to keep breaking.

Maybe a Dremel to cut out the button from the front side? Other than that there is no way to disable just 1 button.

That would be a great idea if I didn't need the horn. Too many absent minds staring into cell phones at intersections...

Maybe a custom leather cover with that button covered, but where and who you could get to make one is unknown to me. That way when you sell the FOB is still good.
