Differential cover
Noticed today my rear differential cover is rotting away, is there any place I can get one besides the dealer? It's a 05 f150 supercab. It's the 8.8 rear end. Dealer says I can't get it anywhere else

Your dealer is full of crap, you can get a new cover at nearly ALL auto parts stores. Here's a link to get you started.

There are plenty of makers of aftermarket diff covers, check carid.com or 4wheelparts. Just google 8.8 diff cover you should find options no problem.
