Gotcha. Well, there it is, in any case. It can be put into the firewall and switched off until it's needed until the attack is over (the firewall logs will give an idea of when the attack stops).

 

If they are on dial up they get a new ip every time they connect, best way to block would be a mac address ban. That would ban each pc used no matter what ip address they have. Don't know if this forum software has that ability or not.

Yeah! I`m an admin on a Mustang site & we are getting slammed with spam also, so its not just here. I wonder if the spammers have something against Ford?
