Default DeeZee Oval Nerf Bars - Good choice??

I have an 05 STX (mini back doors), light silver exterior, black package.
I'm considering the DeeZee 4" oval black bars.
Anyone have any experience with these? Good choice? Recommendations/opinions welcome.
Thanks y'all.
Mac

DeeZee and Lund seem to be the way to go with stuff like that. I don't have any bars on my truck, but almost everyone I know that does either built their own, or went DeeZee/Lund.

I have the DeeZee nurf bars 4" ovals, stainless steel, but getting some pitting rust. The black rubber/plastic front pads lasted less than three years here in Florida (sun). They just started cracking and chipping. Replacements are $48 from DeeZee, now the back ones need replacement four months later. This is going to get expensive, so in the long run I would say FORD has a better idea.

If I had to do it over again, I would do my research and see what replacement parts cost.
