Default Dealer

I am not to happy with the dealer. When I brought my new Ecoboost in June, my dad wanted to buy my old truck. So called the dealer back the same day and told them I has a buyer. I was told it was already sold. Someone had put a down payment on it. This was on Saturday, picking up new truck on Monday and drop off the title for old truck. Asked them how could they sell it and not have the title. An I live in Missouri and I have. 3 days to make up my mind if I want to keep the new truck

What would you like us to do? Why didnt you sell it to pops prior to going to the dealer? Why would you sign over your truck and "trust" someone else? If you really liked the new truck and the dealer was willing to sell it to you, they could have let you take it home.

I don't know how many times I asked dad if he wanted my old truck and he said no then he changed his mind. In Missouri you have. 3 days to see if you want to keep a new car or truck

Was told that they could not sell the truck to a family member or I would loose my rebates. They could take the truck to a different dealer in town, same people own it. So when the other dealer called they told them it was out on a test drive. But the truck was still setting on the lot.

That's the biggest crock I heard in awhile. The question I have to ask now is if the truck has been sitting for 3 weeks, Pops could go buy with a deal to buy, correct?

Now, if all seems lost put it behind you. There isn't much you can do at this point. Pops can find him a nice truck at a better dealer.
