It’s a help us, help you type thing.

That said, the 09-14 section of this forum might be your best bet for something specific to the 12th generation.

You can add a signature on this site with your vehicle info (year, trim, engine, 4x?, mods, etc) if you plan on sticking around.
I added that iformation when I made the account, and I assumed it had that on my posts. I will at that sticker and got to that section, thank you

just a heads up, a lot of people reading posts will not see info in an “auto signature”. so anytime you create a thread looking for help it’s always good practice to just include basic info (year/engine/mileage at a minimum). in this case, i’d suggest also including (when you repost in 12th gen), a pic of the instrument cluster and of your radio, that way people will know what specific setup you have.

also; if you have compromised (or “custom”) wiring in your truck, consider looking for a factory “wiring diagrams” for your specific year. a little bit of coin, but will worth it if you are going to sort stuff out DIY. The full FSM (the other two editions/sections) are also helpful when needed, but cost more $$$.

good luck.

ps: when you attempt to provide good info, but mybe miss a few details, it’ll still go pretty smooth, but when no info is provided you can expect sarcastic replies at a minimum. if you stick around you’ll see it happen and better understand where others (in this thread) may have been coming from. good luck.

Hey guys reread the original post, he has the details on the truck plain as day in the first sentence of the 2nd paragraph "2010 F150 Lariat Supercrew 5.4L V8 with Sony Sound system" so you're outta line with the snarky comments.

@55Dodgers you should have read the entire thread before commenting. You would have clearly seen he added the vehicle info after he was given a hard time about it.

The post clearly says edited.

Your addition to this post was completely unnecessary. Things had already long been solved.
