Default Maybe a Cv joint????

Ok so I’ve got a 16 Ford 4x4 with 41k miles on it. My problem is that when I’m 2wd it sounds like my tires have a flat spot on them,it stops when you put it in 4wd. I want to say it’s the cv joints but they don’t pop and I can’t feel what I think is excessive slop in them. I also can’t see anything wrong when I jack up the front end and turn the tire
I also could find any other post with this exact problem

Have looked looked at the CV joints? Also sounds like it could be the IWE solenoid

I picked the front end up and shook them, but they didn’t feel noticeably loose
im not ruling out the iwe solenoid but everything I’ve read points to it making more of a grinding noise rather than a “thump”

Found the problem it was the needle bearing that the axle rides on, on the passenger side
