Question Cutting wheel well plastic, and how to patch it up

So, I went crazy and decided to put the absolute biggest possible tires on my truck (BFG KO3 325/65/18 - 2" Billstein 5100 lift) and i had some rubbing on the crash bars as well as plastic trim. I cut those crash bars off, and trimmed the plastic (full turn radius now, yesss!) but i'm left with these ugly holes. I'm not so concerned with how they look, but rather the water and dirt that will get in there. Has anyone dealt with this issue and how did you resolve it? Also, fyi, I'm going to put on Eibach stage 2's (2.5") and I'm upgrding the UCA to fix the angle, although that's not entirely necessary. 150k miles, the current control arms are looking like they dont have much life left in them.

Get some new front wheel well liners and try cutting better. These look like you hastily hacked them up.

With cutting off the crash bars, I hope you plan to drive that truck into the ground and never sell it.

the only damage is to the plastic and the crash bars. plastic is replaceable, and i can always weld the crash bars back on if i want to.

Raptors and Supercabs don't even have them, and that's the highest end f150.

It wasn't hasty, I cut off only the plastic that the wheel was hitting. It's plastic, it can be replaced. I have 150k miles on it now and i plan to go to 300k if it makes it there. the truck is only worth 10-12k now, and it will be half that in a few years. I'm not concerned about resale value.

Not talking about resale value, I’m talking about you selling a modified vehicle thatll break someone’s knees if they get in a front end collision.

If you didn’t hastily cut that wheel liner, i don’t know, I guess your hands must be shaky.

agree that resale value would be lowest on list of potential concerns from this ‘mod’.
