Cutting out problem resolved.
So my 95 F150 5ltr V8 XLT started cutting out rarely, then more & more progressively over a year until it cut out (but the engine was still running on idle) every time l used it.
l only use it for short hops to the gym or the store or Lowes etc anyway, but it was getting dangerous because cars behind would almost run into me & l had to almost keep a finger on the hazard warning lights to alert them!!
ANYWAY, it was no more than the Throttle Position Sensor, about $37 from O'Reillies.
Runs like a champ now, & after paying $950 for it 9yrs ago & only forking out for tires, a clutch, & new plugs/oil/filters it is like money in the bank!!!

Sure looks like it from here, but I can't tell if it's a Lobito or what. We had two Lobitos, a Sherpa T and a Metralla when I was a kid in the late 1960s. Rode the Metralla to high school a few years after that. Then there was the Hodaka and the little 80cc Suzuki I learned to shift on.
