Cooling fan
I have a 2014 f150 with the 5.0 v8. my cooling fan will turn on, turn off , turn on turn off repeatedly while idling in park. while driving it doesn’t turn on. it does this everyday , all day no matter the weather. i was told to replace the thermostat so yesterday i replaced the thermostat and it is still doing it. does anyone have any other idea as to what i need to replace for it to stop doing this? thank you

*Was the thermostat replaced with a Motorcraft? (if not, it should have been) Was the cooling system properly burped? What's the condition of the A/C system?
Be aware that there are year specific forums which better serve non-general F-150 issues/topics..
Isn't that the expected operation? Did something change and it is doing it more frequently? Is your truck running hot?
When you are moving, you have adequate cooling from the airflow through the radiator.
When you are idling and do not have cooling from moving, your fan provides the cooling necessary to keep the car at temperature.
