Default Coolant leaking, which Y pipe replacement?

Oem or Dorman aluminum replacement?
i知 assuming the Dorman still has O-rings that can go bad?

Not yet, but I wanna buy one and have it on hand in case it goes. I知 definitely gonna change it spring.

It isn't a maintenance item, if it's not broke don't fix it.

The orings flatten and it begins to leak, Just get the orings and some silicone and replace them. The dealer replaced mine under warranty, he said it was cracked.

Go to a wreckers. Pull the T-stat housing and y-pipe from an interchangeable year and engine (if it looks okay at wreckers). When you get them home, disassemble, inspect, clean hose attachment points and replace any flattened o-rings. Done, you now have an OEM repair part ready when yours starts to leak.
