Default converting a 2wd to a 4wd

Hello i have a 2019 f150 STX 2wd, I was wondering what it would take to convert it to a 4wd, I have noticed that the truck already has the wiring in the dash, is it all just under the truck stuff or is it more inside the truck and what parts would i need

It would take a trip to the dealer and a trade for a 4x4 truck. Seriously, this question has been asked many times over the years and never completed on a newer truck.

You need a lot. Including the front end frame that’s different.

Get a good locker in the rear or trade it. Those are the logical options.

Nope, not going to happen. You would spend more on parts and labor than just replacing it with an actual 4x4 truck.

If you can do the labor yourself, you MIGHT break even vs just trading for a 4X4. If you're paying someone else to do it the cost is prohibitive.

I wouldn't even think about it on a newish truck. If you had an older truck that you inherited from grandpa and wanted to convert to 4X4 at the same time you were doing a full restore I might be interested.
