Was looking to see what coldair intake is best for 07 5.4

 

I recommend trying the Gotts mod first, then if you dont like it then look into other intakes.

Intakes like the k&n are actually more warm air intakes and ones like volant intakes are cold air.

Also, the 5.4L may run lean with a intake and will need a programmer to fix it.

 

Thx for the info, did not know the intake would make it run lean. im not ready for a programmer yet... i know of lots of guys running intakes and never heard of that. just looking for more power and mpg.Thanks again

 

Well it doesnt always run lean. Many people say the gotts is just as good as an aftermarket intake except there is no sound from it. plus it cost around $10.

Do you have a 4.6L or 5.4L engine?

I'm running a JLT intake and like it so far. Just dont go mudding with it lol
