Default Cold air intake

Hello, I'm new here to the group. Has anyone have any feedback on putting a cold air intake on a 3.5 eco boost?

When coupled with a tune, our Windstorm CAI is a wonderful addition to your vehicle and the performance of it. We offer bundles that can change the whole driving dynamic of the vehicle. If you'd like more info, feel free to PM us or visit our website!

Your truck has one. Most will say they are just noise makers. Guys with aftermarket CAIs post mixed reviews. If you are wanting better performance, you are better off with a tune.

Gimmick. Unless the filter is enclosed it's going to pull warmer air than your existing intake. And, if it is enclosed then it's pulling the same amount of air as your intake. So either way you've wasted cash.

And don't believe the lies about increased fuel economy either. More air in = more fuel in. The ECU will always keep the ratio where it's happy.

The best air filter you can get for the vehicle is already on the vehicle. Collectively the auto industry doesn't spend millions on R&D, they spend BILLIONS.

The truck market numbers and specifications are so competitive, if something as simple as a silly air filter provided anything, one horsepower, one foot pound of torque, one mile per gallon of benefit it would already be on the vehicle, their cost is an absolute pittance when factored into the price of a new vehicle.

Like others have said our intake is already considered a cold intake as it sits stock. If you'd like to boost performance just as much as an aftermarket intake lookup the "gotts" mod. It's simple and easy and should be any more than $10.
