There is no "check alignment" unless you take your truck in and they determine no adjustments are necessary.
Front end alignment machine must be fully setup to 'check' and that is not free.

They may charge you for time at that point.

Alignment is usually a flat fee, in all my experiences. The only time I have not paid for the alignment fee is if I need parts.

There is always talk to "get your alignment checked" but it's not like checking oil, just look at it and made a decision.

I haven't had the F150 aligned yet -what is the going rate for this truck? I've been paying $59 for an alignment for the last 9 years.
