The coil spacers I am familiar with would not add height to your spring. They increase the spring rate by reducing the number of active coils.
I do not believe they are what you are looking for. Perhaps provide a link incase I may be mistaken.

Are you talking about the spacers that you insert into the spring it self ?? you don't want to do that ...

I know guys that run them on daily drivers that see mild off road applications with out any problems. If you are doing any serious off roading stay away from them, they can cause coil bind, and other suspension problems.

they are the ones you place inside the coils to push up the springs an inch or so. I don't do heavy offroading, the worst this truck sees it a muddy field and occasional rocky area, nothing major.

I used to run those on my 72 Cutlass with sagged out front springs. That is what they are for if I'm not mistaken. These things are for hard up guys with sagged out jalopies. The moment you have 1 corner in the air and the spring unloaded, my bet is to listen for the thing dropping on the ground. Look for straight up level kit.

Ohh ok the rubber or metal twist in spacers, yeah no bueno. Those aren't good for the springs.
