Cleaning tires question
There is nothing like having a beautiful black set of rims and then have red clay stain those brand new trail grapplers. The way the sun just makes those tires look orange and the rims stay as black as could be. Does anybody know how to get these things black again? I have tried a couple different cleaners and of course some elbow grease. Nothing seems the help this awful stain. I don't wanna run my next 30k miles on these tires with them being so ugly. Somebody help me?!!

Try a good all purpose cleaner and a stiff brush, should come clean.
If that doesn't work, Meguiar's makes a wheel and tire cleaner that you can pick up at any walmart. It actually works pretty good and is safe for your wheels.

To clean my tires I have always used Fantastic. Brings them back to black.. Or white letters, then a tire gel to make them shine! Any full strength degreaser/cleaner will clean your tires right up.
Brillo or SOS steel wool pads will clean most all stains from the black and the white rubber. After cleaning, use your favorite tire dressing or brake fluid for a great shine.

Yep, since 1972. You can use Westley's Bleach White for the fluid, instead of water.
I have used Westley's Bleche White and a stiff bristle brush for many years to clean my tires. It looks as though it's Black Magic Bleche White now?
