I use the mothers claybar about once a year. it takes A LOT of time but it's worth it in my book. the finish feels soo smooth. like glass. You would really be surprised how much crap comes out even after you wash it really well. I have to get a new bar soon though. it went from a bright yellow to a grayish color. think I'll get one more use out of it then it will be black.

I haven't noticed it bringing out anything bad. But when I wash my truck it's pretty much an all day affair. I wash it by hand, use the claybar, then finish with the 3 step process from mothers. so needless to say I wipe every inch of the truck at least 5 times. she turns out really good lookin. I've noticed cause other trucks will honk at her. but she's not a ****. haha

that would work just fine. I just do the 3 step to make sure the color dosen't fade as bad. step two removes oxidation in the paint and brings it back to it original color. or is it step one, can't remember off the top of my head.

yeah it's the only kind I have used for the past 3-4 years. I'm the type of person "if it's not broke, don't fix it". Have no problems with it so I'll continue to use it. Comes with the spray and the bar. think it's only about $20 at your local auto store.
