97 F150 5.4L got a check engine light for the first time, 105K all mine, figure it is emissions related, runs fine, no miss, starts up no hesitation, not much of a DIY guy but at this point in time I can't spend much to get it right, won't pass emissions test in May without a fix, ideas?

 

Hook it up to a OBDII code scanner, and it'll tell you anything you want to know about your truck. Most local auto parts stores will hook a computer up to it and tell you whats wrong with it, for free. You may want to give that a try.
