I have a 2005 Ford F-150 and one of my center caps popped off in bad flood water. i got a new one on ebay popped it on to where it clicked and everything looked right. It popped off when my truck was parked. I then put it back on where it snapped into place. Now it is gone. Can anyone help me with what went wrong? I saw on one forum that there is a screw like piece that has to fit in a whole on the rim and you need to align this screw like piece on the center cap to the whole on the rim. Is this what caused the center cap to pop off? Can anyone help?
