Default Cat removal

I am going to try to remove 2 of my 4 cats tommorrow, and i was wondering if anyone knows anythign about it. I know nothing about it, and I am not at home right now, so that is why Im not spending hours looking it up, lol

I was just thinking that yall could save some time.

Remove the back ones instead of the fronts, removing the fronts will throw codes but the backs wont.

Don't u have a tuner? If so just turn off the rear 02 sensors and you can take all the cats off if you want. I don't recommend it because the 4.6 and 5.4's like a little backpressure.

Is it safe to remove the two cats on a 06 or will this mess up gas mileage an give me a code light on the dash?
I was thinking of taking them off, an adding the flowmaster muffler with a turn down at the rear!

No, I still dont have a tuner, lol

and I think im going to try to get them off if I can find a place that is open today where i can get some pipe, or try to see what I have left in the garage.
