Question Cat question

i have a 2006 f150, just recently it is coding cat efficiency, I am in the process of moving back to AZ and money ir really tight for a few months, I was wondering if I would have issues with my truck if I removed the cats and just piped through for a few months till I can get some magnaflow high flow cats and exhaust and replace them. any info would be appreciated.

thanks

You would just have a check engine light on while it's removed. IIRC the cats have a 80,000 mile warranty on them, not sure if there is a time restriction.

If it's not causing any performance problems just leave it in place until you can get it replaced.
