Default carb advice

I have an edelbrock 1407 and I bought a 1478 electric choke kit problem is there's no brass plug where the vacuum hole should be it was never drilled from edelbrock what should I do

If you are installing an electric choke, you don't need the vacuum port. The vacuum is used to draw the heated air thru the choke housing. With the electric choke, it's heated by the coil in the cover, and the choke housing usually doesn't have the passage drilled either. HTH.
