Hmmmm, yet another Car and Driver worthless comparison. Whichever truck had the newest toys always wins their tests. Of course, if BMW made a truck, it would win every one of their testcomparisons.

I don't get it... How do you get the best comfort, but worse ergonomics out of the three? Doesn't that seem like am oxy moron or do I just not understand the difference?

What jumps at me the most is how they optioned the ford. They got a lariat but somehow skipped the running boards but managed to find a 3.31 ratio with max tow (11200 lb tow rating) and the 18" wrangler sr-a's. Still funny it outran both in performance. Too many inconsistencies for my liking. Find a one with 3.73s and max tow/hd package and the nicer interior and redo the test.

When I read the performance figures, I though "he he ford wins another one"...then I saw the conclusion, which showed the opposite. Then I remembered, the newest redesign always wins the magazine shoot outs.

Did C&D ever review the original VW Beetle? It would have finished dead last based on the incipit reward of new they practice. Also, ergonomics aside, for years Ford has had an inch less here, an inch less there, but I've always felt their cabs were roomier.

Interesting review. I used to be a GM guy (my dad worked for them in their corporate headquarters his whole career) but I must say I do not like the current look of their trucks. Just my humble opinion.

The 3.31 is not available with the max tow it requires the 3.73 limited-slip axle at a minimum the 3.31 is why the as tested was 8100.
Why does the Chevy not post a 0-100? Rev limiter or governor on it?
I love the ride part, chevy 8, dodge 9 and ford 5 Hell it is a real truck not a car
