Hi all - I just purchased my 2015 F150 xlt a few months ago and have a question about the front windshield defroster. I turned it on a few weeks ago because the windshield was fogging up. Now I cannot seems to turn the dang thing off. I've tried pushing the button again (and multiple times, progressively with more force! and even held the button down to see if that would do it) and it will not turn off. I've pressed pretty much all the buttons on the A/C unit, and nothing turns it off. I've turned off the entire A/C system but when I turn the AC unit on again, the defroster turns back on automatically and I cannot get it off.

It's annoying because not much air comes out of the dash vents, because it's always going out the window defroster vents.

I feel like an idiot for not knowing how to turn it off , but any help would be appreciated.

Take it in for warranty repair.
