My 05 XLT came without a jack. I know my fault for not checking it before I drove off the used car lot. Looking for suggestions as to whether I should get a bottle jack or a scissors jack. Thought of going with a hi lift jack but I don't think the bumpers were designed for that.

 

hi lift jacks are more for off road use and not really steady. i would just get a bottle jack for like 20 bucks from a parts store and keep it in the tool box/behind the seat. dont get a scissor jack. there stupid and clumsy IMO. the jacks that come stock arent really that much better either. so your not out much

no i was just sayin put it in the toolbox. but then i thought "well maybe he doesnt have a toolbox" so i also threw in behind the seat haha. sorry for the confusion
