I've seen it done before, anyone know what the best way to go about getting rid of that white area of the running light is? Ive seen people tint that square area and it helps a little, but ive seen somewhere they got it to match the black insert perfectly...

Not sure what white area you're referring to. Pic would help.

That clear section where the orange running light is. I'd like to get rid of that white clarity. I've seen it either tinted/smoked or something else

That there is the chrome reflector for the incandescent parking light bulb. If you want to do it the right way (Quite difficult) you could bake the headlights and separate the lens from the housing, paint that section of the light bucket black and add some LED bulbs that don't need a reflector to function correctly.

Re-seal the headlights with RTV or butyl. There's plenty of resources from the retrofit boys on how to get these headlights open. It's a PITA, but a good rainy-day Saturday project! When I did my retrofits I baked the headlights at 270 for 12 minutes. A little bit of prying had them open in a matter of minutes.

I suppose a layer of tint would do the trick to a certain degree, but meh. It would bother me that it wasn't done the proper way.
