I used red caliper paint on my wife's white G8 GT. Looks great!

This is the paint kit I used. It is plenty of paint for several sets of calipers.

I have most of the can left and might do my black truck's calipers too.

Most likely due to the fact that your truck is white and you want to paint them blue or red.

Paint them black, dont be a ricer wanna be.....stock calipers on a F150 should never be painted anything other than black or maybe silver or dark grey. Just remember, you asked.

disclaimer: the following is only my OPINION ... but as we all know, opinions are not truth/fact, and everyone is entitled to their own.

From what I have seen there are hardly any stock calipers on any vehicle painted a "color"... and when I recall having seen them it's usually only on "racing" production cars. Only other time I see them is when they are aftermarket calipers, and they almost always seem to be red. Without having researched this, my only guess is that aftermarket calipers are painted in a "bright" color to make them stand out and draw attention to them - most likely for "advertisement" purposes (helps to get ppl looking at them and possibly wanting them).

So, to me ... Painting your calipers any "color" gives the appearance that you're trying to make people think they are aftermarket, since there are no colored stock calipers on a Ford production truck.

If it were me, I would never consider painting them for "looks" ... I would only do it for protection against the elements ... and then, they would be black or a grey/silver ... but never a 'color' ...

Black would be nice. It would subtlety blend in better

Painting mine bright green with a green stripe on the edge of the rim, kind of like the stripes people have on motorcycle tires, should look nice when I'm done.
