I can not turn off the cab or cargo lights in my 2011 STX. I can turn them on by holding the dimmer rocker switch to the right. When I hold it to the left to turn it off, it will not turn off. The only was I can get it to turn of is to cycle the key, but that doesn't help when I'm driving. I'm thinking I have to replace the dimmer switch. Thoughts?


P.S. - The switch dims the cluster up and down just fine.

check your door ajar switches..

 

Definitely not the door ajar switch, lights work as they should entering and exiting vehicle, no warning light on dash. This issue arises when I turn the lights on manually via dimmer switch.
