Default C-rated tire?

I'm not very educated on the ratings of tires but I found a set of 5 bfg mud terrains with 90% tread for 600$. Will these tires be okay on my truck? I wasn't sure if a c-rated , 6-ply tire will work on my truck. So any advice? Thanks in advance

Load range C is fine. Exactly what your truck is designed to run.

But IF you are towing regularly I would suggest E load. If not, they are fine

I'm pulling one trailer load from my house to fort Stewart Georgia. It's about 2 hrs away. But I'm keeping the all terrains on for that. Thanks for the advice

I'd check the load capacity on the sidewalls and make sure it's equal to or greater than the OE tires that came on the truck. Many LT-C tires have less capacity than P rated tires that come on these trucks new.

Well it came with bfg all terrains.. Isn't there something about that on the inside of the door jam?

Yeah the door jamb sticker should give you clues, or perhaps your truck still has the OE spare...so you could look at it and see. As long as your new tires have the same or higher capacity you're in good shape.
