Default Builtright panels and DECKED drawer system?

Hey ya’ll. I currently have the Builtright industries bed panels to hold all my gear (axe, shovel, fire extinguisher, etc) but I just purchased the DECKED drawer system for more secure storage of my larger gear items and bags. I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with how they work or won't work together. Thanks in advance.

Well...since nobody chimed in, I decided to figure it out myself and make some modifications and make them work. It really isn't that much cutting to make them fit with the DECKED system. On the front panel (~20%) but the rear panel did get cut significantly (~60%). It should just be an option you can special order direct from them because it would be relatively easy for them to just make them to fit. Hope I help others decide whether or not to ditch their bed panels when they get the DECKED or if they want to just make the modifications. I am considering buying the two driver side panels and modifying them to fit so I have the panels on both sides. I love having the panels and all my quick-fists for longer tools, etc.

that system is sweet! Are the drawers relatively watertight?

Yes. 100% watertight inside the drawers. The 4 "ammo boxes" on each corner are not.

Water resistant not waterproof. You could hose the decked system from above without any getting in the drawers. But they will and do condense water inside the drawers. At least in WI weather!
Just make sure you do not tighten the corner J-bolts past hand tight. I cracked a front box that way.

Decked was very good with the warranty replacement. The unit was by me installed Sept. 2017. KM

What is that tail gate cover/insert you have on your truck? I couldn't quite make out the name in the corner there. Looks like something that would work for what I want to do with a drawer system that is partially supported by the tail gate, and sliding on that big plate of plastic would be a lot better than my uhmw runners hitting my bedliner covered tail gate. Thanks

I am kind of liking your modified version better then the regular full panel, it keeps everything up high and tight on the bedside away from any load in the bed. Builtright should offer it this way.
