Default Bug Deflectors

Hi,

I'm looking for suggestions for an affordable (but quality) deflector that is rather easy to install. I'm all ears. Thanks.

I ordered a unit today from AMAZON and should be here tomorrow.. It is a no screw installation and looks like a simple install, I will let you know... Was not the cheapest I could find but 68 bucks to my door I had to give it a shot. Drove to San Diego a couple weeks back and the bugs were horroiffic... The last thing they saw was me looking like dam it,

I like stampede behind the grill better, but they are harder to install.

Not to crash on your parade, but the last 2 f150s I have owned had bug shields installed. BE CAREFUL! They tend to rub/chip off the paint underneath And in the front of the hood. That is caused from bumps, and moisture caught in between the deflector and the hood. Just my $.02

Does anyone know if the AVS poses this problem? If so, is there anything that can be done to alleviate the problem? I may be screwed because mine is already taped to the underside of the hood with the adhesive strips that come w/it.
