Default Brakes are warm

2005, F-150 triton, 5.4L, 2WD
Changed brakes and rotors yesterday, but still smelled like a burning smell. O'Reilly tells me that the caliber need to be greased or replaced. I am just curious if I might have overlooked something or it might be it.

Did you clean and lightly grease the pins and any points that move?
All four pads you replaced were worn fairly evenly?

Did you clean the rotors before installing? If not, then they are burning off the oil they had on them. I would wait a week and if the smell is still there then worry. But there's nowhere on the caliper to grease, the brake fluid does all of that. The caliper doesn't need to be replaced unless it's leaking or sticking. Did you notice a SIGNIFICANT difference in wear of brake pads on any wheel vs the other wheels?

Edit: forgot some grease the pins, I never did on mine but it could be worth while.

New brake pads also need to seat. They may out-gas during this time.
