Default Brakes

My brakes will stop but go almost to floor. Tryed tighten rear brakes still goes almost to floor. Can anyone give me any suggestions. Thanks jbs

welcome to the forums

did you bleed the brakes? there may be air bubbles in the lines causing the loose pedal. there might also be a leak in the brake lines, that would cause pressure to drop

most likely air in the system - it never hurts to have the brake system bled once in a while to keep the pedal firm

More info please? Truck, year, trim level, 4 wheel ABS or rear wheel ABS? Is the ABS light on now? Does it prove out when you start the vehicle?

it's axlt 4wheel drive everything works fine just almost to floor

Yeah, I would bleed brakes and if that it is a no go then the master cylinder. I was just throwing in the next thing to check.
