I have read several posts, and may know the issue, but I want to add a problem I experienced I have yet to read.
Driving home yesterday from about 10 miles away, got about 7 miles into the drive when all of a sudden at about 35-40 mph, the steering wheel started shaking/vibrating really noticeable and the truck wanted to pull to the right.
I slowed down to 30 or slower and the shaking went away. Light turned green, accelerated back to 30, 35, 40 and the shaking returned, slowed down and it went away. I pulled into my driveway and noticed smoke coming from the passenger side front wheel....the smoke looked like steam, white/gray, not dark. I took a close look and noticed it was coming from the rotor/caliper area. I grabbed the garden hose and sprayed water on it as I didn't want it to catch fire. The rotor was boiling hot and the water bounced off like a clothes iron as steam and smoke continued to emit from the rotor. After a minute or so, it finally cooled enough that the steam and smoke dissipated. The rotor was now shiny compared to the drivers side which is the normal brown/rust color.
After reading some of the other posts, it appears the caliper may have become stuck, but I have not read anything about the steering wheel shaking so bad. While I was driving, I didnt notice any smoke, and it only became noticeable when I pulled in the drive way and stopped. I climbed under the truck, which is easy with a 6" lift, and didn't notice anything obvious or broken. I didn't have time due to near darkness and rain to take the tire off yet...I will be doing that this evening. Can anyone tell me what I should look for first? Should I drive it around the block and see if it happens again? Could the cold water have caused any problems (I imagine if it was raining, water would hit it anyway, so I doubt it would hurt anything)?

Stuck caliber causing the rotor to warp caused the shaking. Spraying water on it probably made it worse. Different from rain because your rotors were much hotter than they would be under normal driving conditions. Replace the caliper, rotors and pads in the front.
