Hello! Are brackets like this out there somewhere still? I need this 2” running board lowering so badly!! Thank you for your help!

I have a 2021 Ford XLT F150, with the factory boards. I can see the brackets lower boards, do they also extend them out?

Brackets to lower factory running boards

That guy only made one post here to sell these brackets & that was in 2020

 

Anyone can make these brackets from steel bar. Pick up the bar in the thickness you want and width needed to provide the drop you want. You want the bar to be at least 1-1/2" wider than the amount of drop you want, so you've got 1/2" worth of bar past your holes.

Cut the bar to length. Again, you want at least 1/2" of bar past the bolts.

I then would mark a line on the bar with a pencil, use a bracket to align the holes, then center punch them. Once drilled, use the first drilled plate as a template for the others.
