Box link keys
#14
Edit - called the dealership, the salesman had put the keys in the littel tray on top of the dash - the tray my old 150 didn't have, the tray that you can't see the bottom of while you are sitting in the truck.
I hate to jump on the "me too" bandwagon, but I guess I have to. I bought a 2016 F150, the dealer had no idea what the keys are for, I got home, and no box link keys. Barchief, can you help me out? I would like to install a bedliner but would have to completely remove the box key system and reinstall to do that, running screws in and out of aluminum sheet metal does not make me feel warm and fuzzy...
thanks

I just bought a 2015 F150 Platinum FX4 with the Box Links and no keys. After reading here, I was reluctant to go to my local dealer, Cole Ford Lincoln but it wasn't a problem. Service guy took me to parts, he looked up the code on my locks, found the keys, ordered them and I should have them by tomorrow or the next day. $29.50 with tax.

Replacement Key
I just purchased a 2015 F150 over the weekend and the used lot did not provide the keys. Looks like this has happened to several others here. Can someone help me located replacement keys? Is going to the Ford dealer my best bet? Ordering online, etc? Thanks,

you will not be able to order them online, you must bring your truck to the dealer and get them from the dealer's parts counter...
if you could order them online, then anybody could go in the back of your truck, write down the lock number, and then order keys to your locks.

I will be visting my local dealership, to see about replacement keys, as i have the same issue with missing keys. My question is, the ignition key is supposed to be the key for the spare tire lock, and neither of my ignition keys will unlock the spare tire lock, any ideas?
