Default Bonehead move, what should I do?

2017 5.0.

Wasn’t paying attention and bought motorcraft 5w30. Didn’t realize it until I already drained and went to pour it in. I went ahead and did so I wasn’t stuck. This was my 3rd oil change. Before I’ve been using the factory recommended 5w20. Can I run 30 weight until my next interval or should I just hit the store, drain, and refill? Any worries about the ever so slight mixing of the 2 weights?

It won't kill it. Don't sweat it. Maybe a minor hit to mpg.

drain and refill to avoid any possible warranty issues.

It shouldn't hurt it, but putting thicker oil could cause a bit more resistance in the moving parts. I'd probably drain and refill and call it a $40 lesson learned.

I don't believe you'll do any damage. If I'd paid someone else and they put in the wrong oil I'd take it back. But on a DIY oil change I'd leave it in and use the right oil next time.

FWIW I've done the same thing in the past. The trucks are still running just fine.
