Default Blower fan in zero temp

went up north snowmobiling, truck sat in minus zero four days without being started. Started truck to come home, ran for 30 min. Before blower came on. This has happened two years in a row. When truck doesn't sit for days things seem to work fine. Anyone have any ideas.
