Blow off Valve installation on EcoBoost

I am a huge factory turbo vehicle car nerd. I've owned 4 DSM's (Eclipses and Talons), a 1992 Dodge Stealth RT/TT, and now my wife's Mazda CX7 (same drivetrain as a Mazdaspeed3) and I can tell you that I would NEVER put a BOV on a truck.
I'd be willing to bet that the operation parameters of the ECU with recirculating excess turbocharger pressure are not going to lend themselves well to installation of a BOV. You'll probably never get the CEL to go off. You'll probably end up under-boosting like crazy and running pig rich as the computer attempts to correct the lack of boost pressure on "off-idle" throttle application. What's that add up to? Welcome to "safe-mode"-ville.
Bottom line, don't do it. "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should." These are words that have taught me a lot.
