Default Blocked from another forum??

I spend most of my time browsing on this forum, but joined another one to check the "for sale" section... I got kicked off for attempting to negotiate the price of a used Gryphon...

I emailed the forum admin, but I am still waiting on a reason...
I knew ATOM was bitter at the moderators at f150*cough*online, and now I share his sentiment. I'm glad this forum isnt run by crazies, that kick members out for no reason.

Default Not a Sales Venue:

I think you will get similar treatment from the moderators of this forum if you engage in sales endeavors. Perhaps your experience with the other forum would have been different if you had made the dealings via the private message route....just a thought.

I have to disagree, if you go to a 'for sale' section and get banned for selling something, then thats just flat out silly

The fact that you just signed up and have no post to date was the issue in their mind. This is typical of spammers.

most forums have certain criteria you must meet to use the sale/trade section of the forum. its crazy that they let you post in that section as your first post.

Bro, F150homonline is ran by a bunch of eh holes. They will ban you automatically. They sit their and wait for their prey and then BAM! Your banned... that's why this forum is so great.

Let me be more specific: Another member had posted a Gryphon for sale in the "Parts for sale" section of that forum, I was replying to his thread, offering more than a previous poster. In the past, I have done price negotiations via PM (on f150forum), but felt comfortable since others had been posting offers in that thread as well. I know there are rules about starting threads in the "for sale" sections if you havent been a member very long or dont have the post count, but I had been a member for 6 months or so. Not nearly active as I am here, but it wasn't my first post either. I have no way of knowing what my actual post count is/was, since my account and I assume all posts I made have been locked/removed/etc.

It most likely had something to do with that the initial price of the item was fairly high (350 or so) and there were some earlier posts from a few other members about it being fairly pricey for a used one. I merely posted a few links to other recent threads in that for sale forum showing the final price on other used gryphons to be lower (~250-275ish) along with my offer of 260 + shipping. So I don't get how that makes me a spammer if I made an offer... Healthy price negotiations to me. wtf ever. I only joined that forum bc they appeared to have a busier "parts for sale" section, but I know now to stick to this forum. I don't want to have a different login, and have to set up my profile again and tiptoe around in every post only to have it deleted again. Screw them

It used to be a really cool site, but with all the banning lately and the site problems many members are finding new forums, thats how I got here.
