Default Blinker not working, Help

I have 2001 F-150 several day ago the rear left blinker stoped working and the internal indicator blinks fast, I replaced the bulb, but it did not fix the problem. I notice this morning the right side license plate light was not working, I will change it today and advise. Any thoughts?

Seen it mentioned here several times to also check your ground wires for good contact.

I would check the fuse panel. Few weeks ago my tail lights went out and I found out that the fuse burned up and the plastic around the fuse was melted off lol.

Check for a damaged connector for the t-sig bulb. Look evidence of color like its was getting hot.
