Hey guys, and girls. I just got the truck a few weeks ago, I want to black out my headlights and taillights. I was wondering, can I still use the Hella LED taillights with the black outs and the headlight covers with HIDS? Thanks in advance for the help.

If by blackout tail lights you mean painting them, then yes, someone on here did it a while ago. Can't remember who, but I'll try to find the link. And as for the headlights, i know Raiderh8r89 has blacked out headlights with HID's, and if i'm not mistaken I think UnleashedFord has them too.

 

Thanks for the response, I was thinking of the blackout lenses that go over the head/taillights. I haven't thought about the painted way (yet).

This is a thread where he painted his LED tail lights. Now I understand what you mean about the headlights though. And I KNOW someone has painted their lenses, I remember seeing it a long long time ago, but I couldn't tell you who did it or where I saw it. Sorry I can't be more help on that one.
