just wondering if i should black out just tailights or headlights and taillights?

 

Well, you don't have a public garage so we can't look at your truck. In general, I would say head and tail lights look great blacked out, but I just go a ticket for my clacked out tail lights in California...

 

Post 'em some pics! Probably gonna look better with smoked lights, but we still wanna see your truck

 

aint seen your truck but I can go ahead and tell ya that blacked out tails would look BA but at least for my year, ford doesn't make very good headlights so tinting your stockers would make it pretty hard to see at night so I would just get some after market black headlights

 

buy the harley davidson head lights and smoke ur tails with VHS night shades and do ur third brake light...ill post pics of my 10' white xlt up when i get off work to show you how it looks

Now this is just my opinion, but blacking out the headlights just doesn't make sense. You greatly inhibit the light output... I would also suggest leaving the backup light untouched. Check out my tails in my garage (2 coat of VHT Nightshade, but taped off the backups)
