Default Black Emblems
I have a 2006 F150 and I am looking for black emblems for it. The black lettering in my emblems have begun to peel pretty badly so I figured since I am going to buy new emblems anyways that black emblems would look pretty good. I'd want the entire emblem to be black not just the background or just the writing. Do you guys know of any sites that have them for sale. I've also thought of plasti dipping them (i have plasti dipped things before) and i tried one of them last night while it was still on the truck and i failed miserably. haha. I'm not sure if i sprayed too closely or what but it was bad.

I did my tailgate as well but taped them off. Side emblems I took off and painted using color match spray paint. Take ur time and it'll look good

How did you get them off? Did you use a heat gun to melt the adhesive enough to get them off? Then what did you use to stick them back on?

What usually works is running a fish line behind the emblems...I recently replaced mine and that's how I removed mine!!!
