Misfire after replacing radiator?
2006 F150 4x4, V8 5.4L
Good Morning,
I replaced my radiator this weekend. Drove my truck to the lake which is about an hour away, with no problems. I then headed to a friends down the road from the lake and the truck started to overheat. I noticed that fluid was pouring from the thermostat. The gasket/O-ring was busted. We replaced that with no problems. No more leaks but when we went to leave the next morning, the truck is skipping/misfiring really bad. Any idea what it could be?
We previously had this problem in lower gears and changed the spark plugs, which fixed it.

I suspect coolant made its way into one or more of the spark plug wells when the T-stat was leaking.
