Default Battery maintainer bulkhead fitting location

I bought a corvette a few weeks ago and my truck lost it's garage space (couldn't kick my wife's car out!). Where do you install a bulkhead fitting for a permanent mount? I wanted to find somewhere it would be partly protected from rain and snow. SAE to SAE for a Battery Tender JR. Also what brand? Everything on Amazon has poor reviews and there aren't any name brands. Battery Tender has one that is out of stock and no where to be found.

Thanks/ Chet

I have a CTEK battery charger that I use on mine from time to time. I purchased their separate extension cord and leave that portion attached to the battery. I ran the plug to exit thru the grill and I just tuck back in the grill when not in use. I'll try to post a pic in a bit.

Found them.

I've always run battery tenders through the grill or right below the hood hinges up towards the cowl. I haven't had one in my truck but have had them in my cars.
