Default Ball joints

Fred installing my leveling kit Thursday night, I went to the alignment shop the following afternoon. Needless to say, they couldn't do the alignment because they found that the lower balljoints are shot. After that I haven't been driving the truck and am going to replace them in my buddies garage. My question is, should I replace the upper balljoints too? Knock everything out in one shot? Any tips or tricks on removal? Oh yeah, there's finally snow on the ground in nj, so I couldn't play in the snow because of this

if you have the money it wouldnt hurt since you already have everything torn apart. otherwise just make sure you change BOTH lower balljoints. always replace in pairs.

Pretty sure the uppers have to be replaced with the upper control arms itself. One piece. For the MOOG ones, there $73 each. I might as well just do it. Moneys not too much of an issue. I just don't want to pay a shop to do it! MOOG is good right?
