Took me a while to figure what was wrong with my remote start. 2009 f150 truck does everything but doesn't cranks the engine.on. putting the key next to the cylinder will start. So l decided to go under the dashboard. There's a small black box next to the module. That's the transported key l guess that's the way they bypass the system. It was a bad connection .easy to fix. No trip to the dealer.
