I have a 2016 F150 Lariat with the remote-open tailgate. The backup camera failed and, while trying to get it working again, I butchered the plug that plugs directly to the camera. I have the wires soldered to the camera pins directly but the camera is still not working correctly. I'm ordering a new camera, but not sure where to find either a new plug or entire harness. I would prefer the harness as I want to restore it back to factory condition. Any advice would be helpful. I haven't been to the dealership yet or any salvage yards. Thought I would throw it out here first and see if anyone else has already been down this road. All the plugs I've found online are different than mine. They all have two rows of connectors where mine only has one. As a side note, the truck was sold new in Canada. Not sure that make a difference.
Thanks in advance!
